EMERGENCY PLAN
Emergency Plan are essentially required to be created by producers or farm owners. It is farmers/producers responsibility ensuring that a clear emergency plan is in accessible place to minimize the potential of damage risks during crisis. It is important to keep in mind the following information when generating an emergency plan.
Location
It is important to know and remember and be mindful of knowing where you can place your emergency plan. Keeping multiple copies of the plan are essential.
Update
An updated information of the plan is a must and should be regularly updated. This includes an updated contact information of such important emergency contacts.
Training
An Emergency Plan must be shared with all the persons living and working on the farm. Suggested training of execution in case of an emergency plan with other persons on the farm is essential.
Prevention
Upgrading buidlings oftenly is an effective emergency plan. This will decrease the damage and it increase the effectiveness of handling heavy rains, winds and snow loads.
